A skank is a skank.

But those two skanks have really great looking "backsides" so we'll give them a pass...

You mean a passing glance, right Mr. Woim?

Yeah, something like that! 8)

Yours truly,
The Woim

I don't like any tats to begin with, especially "tramp stamps" and especially tats on women. Tattoos look just as bad on men IMO, but they don't spoil anything I want to look at anyway. That said I usually respects other peoples rights and say nothing, however this one is beyond the pale, just plain STUPID!!!

Steve. <== Still recognizes a nice pair of hips even when they are desecrated.

Now this is a thread I can enjoy.

This was my office view last spring as the new landscapers came in to tidy things up.

Steve's right on this one. Either you're a good Christian girl who would never get a tattoo like this or you're a skank and, dare I repeat myself, would never get a tattoo like this! Most skanks want skank tattoos above the butt crack to look like a chain or something equally feminine and charming.

The tattoo above the buttcrack is particulary vulgar. The worst image possible for a young woman with even an ounce of self-respect. At least the guy running around with a tattoo of an arrow pointing down at his "member" with the charming prescription to "Open Wide and Say Aaaaahhh." can hide his when he wears clothes.

I like the picture Jeff Eason posted. I didn't see any tats though - guess I didn't look "hard" enough

Yours truly,
The Woim<-----No tattoos, but likes the old time Navy tattoos and tattoos of a big red heart with "Mom" written across it.

Maybe its ujst a generational thing because I think tattoos on a chick = HAWT!!!

Then again, tattoos where you have to put on reading glasses and stare for about 3 minutes = BAD IDEA.

I'm sure a generational thing is a huge part of it. Though even if I liked tattoos they're forever and many a person has wished he/she had never gotten a particular tattoo a few years later.

From the Urban Dictionary

In case you haven't heard them all, these are the terms often associated with the lower back tattoo. I won't put the definitions here, but feel free to also look up bullseye, target, and splat tat.

Ass Antlers
A type of tattoo, usually worn by women, on the lower back and branching upwards from the buttcrack. From the original German "Arschgeweih".

Tramp Stamp
A tattoo on the lower back of a female. Denotes the perceived correlation between having a tattoo in this location and being sexually promiscuous. The larger the tramp stamp, the more promiscuous the female, goes the common lore. Popular designs include butterflies, flowers, vines, tribal designs, wings....

Whore Tag
A small tattoo usually located on the small of he back of a female. They can be located elsewhere on the female body, but to qualify it must be something very generic like a lady bug, flower, or a design.

Santa Cruz License Plate
tattoo on a womens back above her booty

License Plate
A tattoo located above the buttocks, generally spanning from one hip to the other.

Alley Tag
A lower back tattoo on a hoop-earring hood rat (a girl who sleeps with various men in the neighborhood).

Butt Antlers
A tribal tattoo on the lower back of a somewhat skanky female, another term for tramp stamp. A milder form of the phrase Ass Antlers.

Whale Tail
The whale tail is the shape formed when a thong or g-string rides up high over a womans trousers. Often accompanied by the tramp stamp.

Jack,

The way Ol' Woimy sees it is the Urban dictionary publishing a bunch of nicknames connotating whores, sluts, animals, license plates, and of all things, a whale. What does this mean? Was Elephant String unavailable?

Slice it any way you like, a skank stamp just ain't a good thing for a young lady.

A short note before ending my post: Get a tattoo if you want to, it's your call. Only you have to live with being you, no offense intended. With respect (or lack of) toward the ladies, just read how the Urban Dictionary is describing the ladies with those tattoos... It ain't pretty, is it? We can think times are a'changing but the Urban Dictionary has some highly judgemental terms describing the ladies so have the times really changed? And if they have really changed, what are the implications in your life?

Yours truly,
The Woim<-------Jack made my point for me! Thanks, Jack!
