This case was given to me by Doug "Smorgassbored" Wiley. I don't know the exact provenance on it as it does not have Nora Van Horn's maker's mark on it.

Chris Tate and I both think that it bears all of her styling so either she did it or someone channeled her style pretty good.

To see more about the history of these pioneering cases that inspired a lot of case makers go to Chris Tate's excellent online museum, http://www.thepalmercollector.com and our J.Flowers Tribute page at http://www.jbcases.com/jflowers.html

I disagree, for me there is right or wrong, and a lot of well established FRIENDS have done WRONG.

I like it very much, I wish I could find something like that just laying around. But, I do have a unqiue case for some one who collects cases if anyone is interested contact me. These case were made from the late 1970's through about 1987 when the gentleman died, and they were made in his garage. The case has a leather tag inside with the location of manufacture, and the gentlemans name.

The case that is for sale is the case that is in the top of the first photo.

I will have one of those McKernan Cases in my hands in a few days. I have been wanting one for a long time and was able to make a good trade for one.

It's also coming with a bonus of a shiny new -R- inside.

I have the SuperMac. That is one tank of a case and frankly the aluminum edges are scary to me when using it. It's bulletproof though.
