sorry, there iphone pics..the rings are cut on an angle. The actual seperate ring in the picture is different than the ones on the cue. its for another cue, made the angle a little more extreme and made the black divider 90 thou instead of whats on this cue 25 thou. thanks for lookin

im guessing youre cutting the slot on a mill, correct?
i been wanting to do a variation of what you have , slot @ 45 angle to billet
but im up shit creek without a mill

did it on a mill, you could do it on a lathe if you have indexing. your only up shit creek if you lack the imagination. 45 degrees would require you using the compound so you wouldnt have power feed, also cut the slots hella deep so that you dont lose the sides when you turn it to size...but highly possible. Regardless, its a pain in the ass if your doing it on a lathe or a mill.
