Very nice Chris. I am glad I'm on the list somewhere. Mine is going to be close to this. I hope you enjoy it for a long time!

When will step out from Ross's tiny shadow and start buying your own style cues???

Jim <-------Thinks someone is following a bit to close in someone elses tiny footprints right down to the nut hugging and scaming

I think he was just trying to distract you from the nut hugging comment so you wouldn't deny it ;)

The thing is I don't give a shit if anyone thinks I'm a nuthugger. That's why I didn't address it.

I asked Murray for a cue. He built it. I paid him what he asked. How is that a scam or nuthugging?

I bought a cue from Ross. I asked Ross to send it to Dennis for an elephant wrap, refinish and joint protectors. I paid Ross. I paid Dennis. Is that nuthugging or scamming?

I bought the Yin & Yang cue from Little Kenny. I shipped it to Dennis for an elephant ear wrap, refinish and joint protectors. (Notice a pattern yet?) when Dennis tells me it's close to shipping, I will pay him. Is that nuthugging ir scamming?

He's just jealous because he can't get a Tucker.

-Zack, can't get a Tucker either

I get it but enjoyed looking at his acquisitions and hate that the reaction was Tikkleresque. I never owned a purple cue until after I started reading here, I had one made and enjoyed it so much that now I have 3 with 3 more in the works. I have an idea how big your shadow is but what size shoe do you wear?

I might have edited this by accident, Sorry.

Damn, I hate that I missed seeing the photo before it got pulled (over a petty squabble)!

I'm not often impressed by the deluge of simple cues I see being spewed out these days, but I always look at the photos. Over the last few years I've come to really like the work of some "Plain Jane" makers, and Murray Tucker is definitely one of them. One of my primary criteria is asking myself if I would want a particular cue in my own collection, and I have yet to see a Tucker that doesn't pass that test.

Now, if anyone thinks that's "nuthugging" I sincerely invite him to kiss my ass.

I wear eleventeens, mostly EEE because my foot like the rest of me is fat.
I'm glad you made the jump to the only true wood that should be used for cues, straight grained, with a nice tone to it, please make sure if they core the cue they use PH to core PH.

Jim <---Wondering why CMD pulled the pic???
