Very nice cues but how about giving us the cue makers?
I see a Searing and maybe a Tucker but I'm not sure about the rest.

Nice little collection. I inquired about the Webb over there but found my answer here. Thanks.

Lose those bumpers please, or else they are just regular cues with Hoppe rings (Am I nuts for thinking this?? Anyone please chime in?)
Also what is the joint on that Murrell? it seems out of place with all the metal.
Can you tell us if that cue's joint effects the way you feel it plays when compared to all of the metal joints??/

Jim <----Very nice collection

You are correct. I am waiting on the engraved bolt from Murray for the Brazilian Rosewood FS. As for the the Webb break cue, I had to make a choice. Considering I use this as my break cue, I need the protection to the shitholes I play in.

The joint on the Murrell is ivory over stainless steel. I chose this joint for a few reasons. The first being that I do not like SS joints on ebony on ebony cues. The ivory adds character in my opinion. I also prefer the hit of a SS joint. This joint allows me to achieve both of my goals. Here is a closer pic of the joint:

This joint set up is pretty close to a full SS joint in my opinion. Because I chose plain black collars for a bunch of my cues, I can swap shafts (which takes the taper variable out) and have an unbiased test.

The only full ivory joint cue I have is with Dennis so I am unable to test that factor.
