Against my better judgement I am going to post up more then 1 cue tonight.
This presents some issues.
1) People are going to expect more out of me then I can handle.
2) People are not going to give both cues an equal look, I am slighting one cue by doing this.
3) I am going to miss out on some much needed sleep.
4) I am going to aggrivate myself with the fact that nobody is looking anyway.

All that being said, I was lucky enough to get in on the ground floor of the J Showman express, I ordered this cue back in the early 90's before people knew who John was. I fell in love because he is very good looking and his price list (I still have a copy) was awesome. The cues were all broken down, if you wanted a 4 pointer is was $XXX if you wanted an Ivory dot it was $X, if you wanted a MOP diamond it was $XX, it was the best thing I had ever seen. Oh and his work looked great. SO anyway I got my sketch pad out and drew up a cue and then got out my Texas Instruments calculator that was about 10x14 and figured out how much I was spending, good times.

The cue at the time cost me $260 and I have talked to John about it now, he claims that this is the only 8 point Purpleheart cue he has ever made and this cue using todays price list would cost just under $4 Million dollars, I think if anyone wants to have it made the wait list is much shorter then his normal list and you can have the cue by August (maybe sooner), and he has no problem stabbing me in the back and he will make as many as you want and will even make exact copies of my cue.

On a serious note John is a great guy and one that I call a friend, CMD just picked up a great Showman, that can be seen in the cue section below and I would tell anyone here if you ever get the chance to pick one up you won't regret it.

The sad news is I have about 80 to go and the majority are moochies and other junk, I shot my load early.
Thanks for the kind words though

Jim <----Posted all the good stuff first, has nothing left

Pretty nice if you're into that sort of thing...

Nothing short of incredible. Seriously.

I'm looking on my iPhone - is that a gold veneer?
