This was my second cue that I felt I was actually ordering a "CUSTOM" cue, back in the day if you had the catalog they gave you some options as to how you wanted your cue, to me this was custom and I was thrilled. Of course I was on a mission to experiment so I choose the Super Joint the super joint meant that not only did the joint pin screw in but there was also a threaded insert on the shaft, very cool looking but, I may have been the only human to ever order this joint and it was for good reason (cue don't hit great) The joint is also Brass but it has some odd coating on it and I have never really figured out how to clean it.

I also picked this cue because it was a 3 pointed cue, Moochie had a 2 pointed cue back in the day (it was a tuesday, around 92) The veneers were like the old Szam plastic Wico points, but I am not sure the exact material, they didn't offer purple as one of the colors to match the pearlized material used in the cue (Of course I picked it out) but blue was close.

I ordered purple nylon wrap to go with the purple pearl crap in the butt, this was pre purpleheart, I was still learning the ropes and to me this was custom, and of course as you know purple is a favorite color.

Of course the true sign of custom for me was to get my name in a window, that means I will live forever right??

Awesome!

Cool cue. It's good to experience your cue buying history.
