Not much story behind any BC cue I have, I really like Barry and spent some time in his shop, so when I'd see a forearm hanging or some wood sitting we'd talk about colors and veneers and the way woods would go together and then we'd talk about some inlays, Barry isn't some big CNC guy so I'd draw some stuff I thought would be simple yet do-able on a bar napkin and he'd make it happen. This cue is that exact example, someho I recall drawing this on a bar napkin one night up at the bar and Barry executed it perfectly. The result is IMO one of the nicest Barry Cameron cues to date. One of Barry's first years going to SBE before he sold out in 2 seconds he didn't have many cues to display, so I let him barrow some so his rack would be full and people could get to see his stuff, this cue got the most looks as I recall.

The cue is an ebony front with 6 tulip points and purple veneers, one other very cool thing it this cue has a matching jump handle and an ebony shaft (you don't see that every day) jump cue. The leather wrap is also perfect and a great piece of leather.

Jim <----So what it's not PH, I also have always loved the way ebony and Tulip go together.

I love that ebony/tulip combination. I'm still kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on one years ago at the U.S. Open.
