IMO Mike Bender makes some of the best playing cues in the biz, his woods and point work is awesome, for these 3 reasons I choose him to put together one of my favorite wood combos. The reason for the title is that Mike does recuts and he counts all the recuts in the points, up and down, this has always puzzled me although I am not really clear how to describe it better. Obviously he knows much more then I do and if he says it's got 20 points then so be it. But for me I have never counted down points in the butt and I would call this a 5 point cue with recuts. Let's keep in mind that I am a dummy.

I forgot to mention that the other wood in the small points is Holly.
Also forgot to mention this cue hits a metric ton, I believe that's because it was so close to Canada.

IT HITS LIKE A RHINO FUCKING A PANDA ON TOP OF MT. EVEREST IN THE MIDDLE OF AN AVALANCHE ON TOP OF A FLASH FLOOD.

I like the play on the shafts, which lends to the playability aspect. It's actually not bad looking either ;)

I'm with you, I don't like it when people count recuts as points or include downward points in the number. As far as I'm concerned, if you're cutting in points to simulate veneers then you can't count those as points.

That said, I'm definitely also a fan of Mr. Bender's work!

Yes, you'll need documentation. As it is you have an issue. If it hits a "ton" then it isn't metric. You need it to hit a "tonne". I can help for a small fee
