This very nice Paul Mottey cue was picked up at my first SBE in 2006. I remember showing it to Timberly who said something to the effect of "Now THIS is my kind of cue!"

The veneers are one of my all-time favorite classic patterns. This one went to Simon "the Diamond" in a trade for the JMW coco SW-y cue in another post.

This cue ended up in my hands in a multi-cue trade that confused the hell out of me. I either way overpaid or totally stole the cue. I couldn't tell which..... :?: :P

This was my first exposure to Mike Capone's work and I was VERY impressed with his execution on the cue. The rings, inlays, veneers, all of it was superb. Talk about long points and thin veneers. And the ring pattern was cool.

Of the cues that I've sold, this one is my daughter's favorite and she still resents me sellling it.

On a side note, some of you may have interacted with Duane Remick on AZ. He is the original owner of this cue and came up with the design combo working with Mike. Good design to my eye.

This cue just screams Tim Scruggs to me. Maybe because of the TS on the buttcap??

Flat-faced, radial joint. Stained BEM forearm. Scruggs-y inlay and a different take on the index ring in the sleeve. Nice work, Mr. Scruggs.
