In order :

I do. It's a great city of about 150K and three pool halls.

Saskatoon is in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada, in townships 36 and 37, ranges 4, 5 and 6, west of the third meridian (Latitude 52.12 North, Longitude 106.67 West).

At the end of the hall in picture 14. The room is unfinished (as you can barely see) and did not make the cut in the photo shoot.

Thanks for looking.

Dave

Bill, that picture was taken in May, not June

Ryan,

No bears .... gotta drive 1/2 hour north.

Moose ? http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatche ... loose.html  Based on that story I would need to walk 1000 yards to have a decent shot at the thing.

Lakes ? Dude, Canada has more fresh water lakes than the rest of the world combined, and Saskatchewan has it's share. In early July me and a buddy are going to drive about 3 hours north to this place to test our fly fishing skills (I be a banger with the fly rod  ) : http://www.virtualsk.com/current_issue/gems.html
An hour south of here is Deifenbaker Lake, a very large lake created by a dam on the South Saskatchewan River. It has some great fishing, helped in part by the accidental release of about an entire fish farm worth of fingerlings some years back  . Of course our government stocks this and a few hundred other lakes. Come on up Ryan and I'll fix you up on a fishing experience like you've never had before .... a guy on my pool team guides here : http://www.wollastonlakelodge.com/ ... only a 10 hour drive north

Back on-topic ... someone buy my damned house !

I'm guessing he wants to move to a place where the sun shines for more than an hour each day, year round.

two rednecks in Mis'sippi were in a bar, when in walks two strangers. being hospitable, like most people from the south, one redneck goes over and starts a conversation. he asks the stranger, "Where y'all from ?"

the stranger replies, "Saskatoon, Saskatchewan."

the redneck goes back to his table , his buddy wants to know what they said. the rednecks replies, "Don't know, They don't know a word of English !"

Now just hold on there buddy, Saskatoon gets over 2300 hours of sunshine a year ! Us folks in the middle of the great plains get the sunshine like you coastal dwellers have never seen ! <Damn am I going to be embarrased if you don't live within an hour of the Atlantic ocean>

True story ... me an a couple of buddys took a trek to California when we were teenagers. Got totally lost in Watts .... almost ran out of gas but found a station at last. We were all filled up and standing there wondering what to do next when these two very large black men approached us, looked at out licence plate and asked "Are you from Saskatchewan ?" ... he pronounced it perfectly, which told us he knew something about the place :?: . We said yes, and then he asked "Do yall have a J5V in the van ?" :?: :?: :?: Now most in the USA have no idea what a J5V is, the official football of the CFL (a fat ball compared to the NFL missle). As it turned out we DID have a J5V and made a couple of new friends  So we asked this guy how he new about Saskatchewan and J5Vs. His brother had played football for the Saskatchewan Roughriders ! Small world we live in.

Somebody please buy my damned house so I can get on with being a single dude again please.

Dave

Our economy here is booming and housing prices have been going up 10% to 30% a year for the last 5 or 7 years iirc.
