One of the nicest Mc´s I think, "MCDERMOTT D22"

As is started playing pool about 18 years ago, my first one was a McDermott.
We had only two good stores over here in Vienna (Austria) where you could buy cues.
One was more specialized in carom (carambol) cues and tables (Heinrich Weingartner - Billiard Encyclopedia),
and the other one was more the Pool, Snooker and Dart store.

And yes, there were these american cues and tables - McDermott and Brunswick, we had to have.
So all started with a cheap plain blue colored McDermott cue, with an eagle holding an american flag - in the butt area 8)
After a short time I wanted to have a nicer one with inlays and points.
The TULIPWOOD in that cue, with the COLORFUL little inlays in the butt section of the D22 catched my eyes.
It was one of the most expensive cues over here at that time - wow, long ago.

I think I gave it away to a good friend of mine for like nothing, but i got it back, as he decided to go with a Pechauer.
Thanks to him, because it´s a little bit of my pool history, you know.

Erich
