I will name that one "BILL STROUD´S BLUE SKY", my Josswest dream !!

As most of you know already, it is still my goal to have one typical cue from each great cuemaker.

For me, Bill Stroud is another innovator in the cue industry.
In my opinion he is the "epitome" of individual, magnificent and complicated RING DESIGNS
And one of his most known designs by today should be the "X-Ring" design, with which I really fell in love in the past.

I knew if I would ever own one of his masterpieces, it had to have that ring design.
I searched for a long time until I came across this beauty not long ago.

Another thing in this cue is the use and combination of the blue lapis, silver and ivory which Bill is doing sometimes.
I love how he uses this combination in his cues, and i feel it pops out just the right way in that one.
In combination with a great piece of birdseye maple and with his excellent sharp points and inlays,
I knew this would be another fantastic fit in my "Typical Collection" - what do you think :?:  :?:

Erich

Did you get this from Jimmy Kissinger? No matter, I was loved this cue from the first picture I saw. One of my favorites in your collection.

I didn´t get it directly from Jimmy, but you are completely right - it was his cue.
And like you I fall in love with it immediatly, too - even Christina (my wife) loves that one.
