My first "CUSTOM CASES" I would say

No, that´s not the truth.
There was a time over here in Europe, when John Barton ran INSTROKE - you can remember :?:
At this time he decided to work together with some leather makers from the CZECH Republic,
and there were some awesome Instroke cases over here to get. Really great one-of-a-kind pieces for that time.
I was lucky enough to know some people that time, and so I got my first "custom case".
I still own it, but it´s in a bad condition, mainly because of all the traveling with it, you know.

After many years of cue collecting and after my collection went bigger and bigger I started thinking about cases, too.
I already had Porpers and Instrokes and other cases, but never had many of these custom pieces.
So i though it´s time to get some.

My decision fell on two of Jack´s cases out of the Chamberlain Collection, a 2x4 and a 3x6 in different colors.
Both have elephant hide as the main component and feature nice cobra skin inlays - under the lid, too.

But that was not enough, so I searched for more and got the chance to buy this awesome Rusty Melton case.
I think, Rusty´s leather work and casemakig is getting better and better, and as I got the chance ..........

Now my little case collection starts out, and I can tell you that these will not be the last ones.

I know these are no cues, not even wood, but I hope you all like leather, too.

Enjoy,
Erich

Rusty's cases are sick! And this is a perfect example of that sickness!
