!! JA Members Special !!

Before you look at the pics I took at the Smithsonian in March (before the EXPO), let me tell you that I am a little bit proud
to be the first person to see these cues together. You know, "the stupid european", Erich with an "h" saw them first.
And you the members of Jimbos Army will see it second - congrats

The room where the cues where stored was a little bit to small to put them out and lay them out well.
I hope you understand that it was not easy to take pics, because the light and camera we had was not good, too.
But I tried my best without a great camera and without a tripod.
Hopefuly you will be able to imagine how great of a feeling it was to be there, and its awesome to share
this feelings and pictures with my friends from Jimbos Army.

Thank you all for the warm welcome you gave me and my wife at the EXPO - it was great.
We had a fantastic time and will be back

Enjoy the bad pics as good as possible
your friend,
Erich

Erich, your pictures are just fine, considering the circumstances.
Approximately how many cues do they have on display and where in the Smithsonian are they located?

@ Scott,
yeap the Buss is one of my favorites, too.
Do you know that there are two of these cues !?
One is still in Jim´s hands and he would sell it. He had it with him at the last two EXPOS !!

@Rich,
if they would be on DISPLAY it would not be such a great thing to get pics, Rich.
They where never on Display like it was planed, they are sitting around in background rooms for many years,
and nobody ever saw all of them together - o.k., of course the curator of the smiths. and the people who work there.
But nobody from outside of the museum ever saw them, thats the reason I am a little proud you know - but I got lucky

Erich

Thanks for your compliment, Justin, and sorry that I didn´t answer that long but I dont look at my own site that often.
And your are right, they wrote these number directly on all of the shafts - for there inventory, you know.
But they wrote it with a pen you can wipe away easily - so nothing can happen to the shaft

Hey Andy,

the only thing I now for sure is, they would put it on display if there would be more people asking about it.
They don´t have enough place to put that much on display, but if there would be more people interested in the cues,......
.

............they would probably put them on display

Eric"h" ------ hopes to see that day before dying
