A wall has already been removed, and me and $500 are going to visit a structural engineer Thursday. Now that I read Brents comments, perhaps I will find some nice brass-coloured paint for the other telepost.

The beam will be reinforced and the telepost my buddy is pointing at will be removed. I need room to fit one of these :

I can't tell if you're in front of me or behind me, but welcome to the race. You were almost thrown out with the red cloth. Good luck, can't wait to see your progress.

This looks like a damn nice table. I've never seen one up close. Ya better start watching and learning from that big batch of videos. No excuses for shooting like a dog once this baby gets set up.

So it's not like I haven't been busy, but little has been done in the pool room over the last while. The good news is that my tools are back with me, and the garage walls have been insulated, vapor-barriered, and sheeted .... and a sub panel installed (but no circuits .... yet).

I guess there has been a tiny bit of progress in the pool room, I started removing the raw shelving, er, pool table from the basement ..... but not before testing the rails from the Dufferin (good news the rails are good, the bad news is I wasted 20 minutes banking and confusing myself looking across at two rows of diamonds).

One more pic, of the cheapassfolduptable rails and the Dufferin rails (although a buddy swears this is an OBS table, and that Dufferin bought Ontario Billiard Supply, but I digress). Quite the difference .... My old Brunswick Bristol II would have been in between.

Anther one in the race!

I wish I didn't have so many other projects to deal with so I could play too.

Well, they say slow and steady wins the race.... Maybe I'll win in the end!

I'll have to post up pic one pretty soon as I have been doing odds and ends that will eventually be the room (hopefully before the end of the world).

Keep the pics coming!

Almost time to cut concrete, Tuesday is the plan. Monday we'll see if a bunch of pool players can maneuver 19' steel channels through a small barred basement window.

Apparently no problem .... I was going out back after sliding the first channel in but they had the second one in the basement before I got there ! In all it took about 45 minutes, of which the last 41 were spent drinking beer in celebration

Dave <-- too short to be inside, too slow for outside

Somethings bugging me about the last pic. There's mud at the drywall seams, but I don't see any mud on the screw holes(or screw holes). Otherwise looking good.

Rodney-------Dickhead for noticing stupid shit.

The drywall was behind the paneling. They taped the horizontal seams and a couple of verticals. I hope to salvage it but there is lots of work getting the black adhesive off.
