Bavafongoul posted an "original" Bushka and a "tribute" cue by -R-. It turns out the Bushka was actually an Adam cue.

LOL that is classic.

I'm glad I don't post on az anymore, if I did I would get banned for this dopey tribute thread, I am amazed at how dumb and stubborn some people are. It's also amazing that nobody sees that the people who defend the copies are those who own them, order them, or try selling them.

The funny thing is Bavfongoo clown is one of the dumbest fvcks there but at least he tried to change the design a little.

Special thanks to Jamie for now fighting the "good" fight

Jim <----getting ill from reading that thread.

So, if someone copied that Adam, would that still be a bushka tribute cue ?
Or would that be an adam-bushka tribute cue ?
I just wanna know before I get the blanks chiseled in the Philippines by JD.
I'm gonna name them Bushkadam.

I believe it's a copy of a tribute.

Reminds me of a story.

By way of background, custom or collector cues are really rare in Toronto, in my experience. Anyway, back in say 2000 or so, in the old RSB days I had read a little about cues so I knew a tiny bit.

A local college hangout had some tables and ran a little 8 ball tourney on Sundays and I would play with some buddies sometimes. All the players were bangers (myself included for sure) and one guy had this cue he took great pride in. Another player picked it up from the table to examine it without asking (bad form, I agree) and the owner yells "Don't touch my cue! It's a Balabushka - the cue used in the Color of Money. Its worth thousands of dollars". The cue was new and even I knew it was an Adams "Bushka". I didn't have the heart (or the desire to argue with the guy) to find out if he knew it was an Adams and was trying to impress people with the lie (it was in keeping with the owner's personality to make such a claim, for sure) or someone had sold it to him leading him to belief it was a genuine Bushka.

Gideon<----owns no Bushka's.
