Check it out - Picked this up from an old timer (pushing 80) in the Northeastern US. He had a Fellini with a Runde Schon as his keepers for his son. This cue was in a cheap box case. He figured that this cue was acquired 30+ years ago, since he stopped playing in the 80s. He doesn't know who made it, he picked it up from a gambler cheap so the seller had ready cash.

The shafts and butt are straight. Joint is skinny, shafts are full, buttcap is a hair above average diameter. Linen wrap, cue appeared unplayed when I got it. It screams quality, and plays phenomenally. I'm really enjoying the hit, even with ivory ferrules (which I typically abhor). Very tinky, lots of action on the ball.

The screws were both obviously made on a lathe by hand. There's also a metal insert in the butt for the assembly bolt.

Interesting photos attached, text me for more

This assembly bolt is tapped internally for a bumper screw

There's a metal insert for the assembly bolt, the builder must have seen the inside of a Balabushka

It's like someone sanded the finish off, so I rubbed beeswax into the wood to seal it for now. It's straight and solid, nice cue really.

IMO he saved the wrong cue for his kid.

Jim<—— would have taken this cue with the other case

He wasn't parting, I tried to get the case. No problem, whatever this cue is, it plays. I'm going to have it finished
