Hey All,

Hubby and I are getting a 'real house insurance policy' (don't ask) and I need appraisals for riders for not only my cues, but my table and such other equipment. Can I do this with pictures or does the appraiser have to come to my home?

Can anyone recommend such an appraiser? I went to Ken Kerner's old website only to be made aware that he doesn't own that site anymore. What happened?

BTW, I'm in the South Jersey area, very close to Philadelphia.

TIA,

Barbara

You’re in a rough spot , it’s not something that is common. Your pal MK is one of the few qualified people but who would trust him or want to work with him?? I think you can speak with your insurance agent and work something out based off of photos and a blue book. Or just put the ball in there court. Often times the things we are talking about are not replaceable and no number is high enough so we need to decide on a number that will make it easier to deal with and try to replace. Also to insure for the actual value is not cost prohibitive.

Fran Crimi hooked me up with Paul Rubino.

I have heard nothing about Ken. We got new homeowner's insurance a week ago and I wanted to get a rider on my cues. So I went to "highendcues.com", but it wasn't Ken's website anymore. I was just curious.

I don't think highendcues.com ever really had much steam to be honest. I know Ken because he's local to me. Used to see him all the time (when I still played) and would enjoy seeing his cues. Much of what he had never made it onto highendcues that I can recall. But he's still around. Your best bet for getting in touch with him would probably be either a PM on AZ or via Facebook. He's there as well.

Thanks for the info Brian.

I called Paul Rubino and left a voice mail msg. He hasn't called back yet, but I'll wait a couple days and call him again.

What's your little girl dressing up for Halloween?? :)

No girl. Two boys. One went as a taco. The other went as a doughnut. I really phoned in the costume efforts this year but... they picked the costumes and love 'em. So... it's on them. lol
