WOW, what a fantastic field!!! This has got to be imo the greatest group of players to grace this event in as long as I’ve been following the sport. I am happy to such a diverse group of talent. I can’t wait to see this event brought back to the status it should, and I hope the future is even brighter. More money and pay pay players and expand the field to make this one of the top events of the year.

Jim <—— loving the action!!!!

Well, Billy Thorpe looks like a world-class player all of a sudden. Excellent run from him so far. I saw him beat Jayson Shaw in person and it was convincing. Shaw is his next match up at the Open!

I watched a few matches on the stream. I had never seen Joshua Filler play before and his game was impressive. The only player I have ever have the ball on a string better than him was Buddy Hall.

Billy is the third exceptional young player I have had the opportunity to see play early in their careers. There are very good pool players in lots of pool rooms. But these were players who made you take notice that they had something special. I hope Billy’s game continues to mature and that he receives good advice from experienced players as he moves forward.

He's traveling with Shane and Jayson, so that's pretty much the bee's knees for advisors
